Miami Travel Guide City Gems
Miami has to be one of my favorite cities, not only because its summer vibes all year long but it hold a very special place in my heart. Since I was young I’ve been traveling back and forth but until a few years ago I decided I wanted to get to know what places I could really enjoy and visit.
So here’s a new take on my first Miami Travel Guide with some new and amazing hidden gems for you to enjoy on your next trip to pastel paradise!
You can find my other guide here!
Whenever I think about Miami I immediately think about pastel colors, wall murals and amazing design, so of course Miami Design District was on the top of my list.
The Design District is one of the most painteresque, eclectic and well designed neighborhoods in Miami. Here you will find from galleries, to design stores, cafés and a little bit of everything to make your trip an amazing one!
In the heart of the Miami Design District you will find OTL Miami. This hidden gem has to be my favorite place to have breakfast in the area. Their aesthetic, menu and their brunch all day everyday will want to make you comeback over and over again.
So grab your latte, some churro french toasts and your granola of choice and you’re good to go and keep exploring the district!

Wynwood Walls has to be on top of your list if its your first time visiting Miami. Over the last few year this neighborhood has been transformed by artists, curators and creatives.
It has changed how people interact with art through grafitti, art installations, pop ups and events. Head down to Wynwood and walk through its streets to be amazed with all of its murals and galleries.
If you’re a big fan of donuts you will go to heaven on earth when you visit The Salty Donut. This cute donut shop in Wynwood has revolutionized the way you see donuts. Their freshly baked donuts will make you stand in line for as long as it takes.
From seasonal flavors to their classic signature donuts, here you will find the best donuts in Miami. Grab a box to go and pick your favorite flavors and share them with your loved ones.

Pastel hunting just got way more interesting with the iconic Museum Garage. This garage in the middle of the Miami Design District is the dream of any color lover out there. Get in the elevator to the rooftop and find a color paradise at the roof.
The outdoor garage is the perfect place for photo-ops, it’s free and open to the public. So be sure to add this to your list when you’re visiting.
Did someone say brunch? Our first in the agenda of course is brunch, mimosas and new places to discover. So we head out to The Local House in South Beach.
Right in the middle of the heart of South Beach in the Art Deco district; Local House serves amazing breakfast and brunch options. From blueberry pancakes, to salmon bagels. We wanted everything so we ordered a little bit of everything and it was SO worth it.

Is there anything better than a good taco? After wandering around Español Way we went to Bodega Taquería for some tacos. I saw this place all over instagram and their menu looked so good we had to give it a try.
Their carnitas and al pastor tacos are a crowd favorite! Go on an empty stomach, their rations are BIG and amazing.
